Welcome to Sunny Ray's Nursery!
We began in 2007 with the goal to grow new and underused plants for the
wholesale garden
center and landscape market.
Why grow lesser known plants and selections? Well, the first
reason is to increase the diversity of species in landscapes.
Certain plants are used time and time again in lanscape
designs, creating a monoculture of boredom and potential pest
devastation. Given the number of species that can thrive
between zones 5 and 7, this is unacceptable.
Secondly, there are some obscure species and selections that will
out-perform their commonly used cousins. The Abelia hybrids,
Canyon Creek and Rose Creek, are prime examples. Their
compact habit and prolific, frangrant blooms make them a far greater
choice than the standard Abelia x grandiflora's that are out there now.
Please keep in mind, we focus on customer service and quality with the
same intensity used to search out the next great plant. It
does no one any good to have a great plant that looks bad.
Plus, if we are rude to you, you will not call us back!
